Michael Janus, Esq. - Admitted in New York and New Jersey

Michael Janus is a graduate of Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He has also earned an L.L.M. in Taxation from New York University. As a former I.R.S. Estate and Gift Tax Attorney, Mr. Janus has gained valuable experience in Estate Planning and associated matters. As an associate and equity partner in a major NYC plaintiff's personal injury firm, Mr. Janus gained substantial experience in representing clients injured due to the fault of others. Past verdicts include an award of $478,500 against the City of New York and $225,000 against a taxi cab company. Mr. Janus handles all aspects of his cases, from intake, through discovery and trial. His services are often sought by other attorneys, and the firm often acts as "trial counsel" for many practices in the area. Michael lives on Long Island with his wife and two children. He takes an active role in his children's lives and is thus very understanding of the major impact an accident can have on one's family and ability to enjoy life, and that a person's pain and suffering cannot be measured by their physical injuries alone.
